Level Preschool I & II Times:
6:00-6:30 pm, 6:30-7:00 pm, 7:00-7:30 pm
April 2, 4, 9, 11, 16, 18

Level 1-6  Times:
6:00-6:45 pm, 7:00-7:45 pm
April 2, 4, 9, 11, 16, 18, 23, 25

When are Public Swimming Lessons?
Fall: October      
Winter: January              
Spring: April              
Summer: July and August

Preschool I and II - 30 minute classes for three weeks.

Levels 1-6 - 45 minute classes for four weeks.

We offer two morning sessions in July and August, for 2 (1 week for pre-school) from 9:30am-10:15am.

Evening sessions are held 2 times per week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Evening lessons usually begin on the first Tuesday of the month and will continue on Tuesday and Thursday evenings between 6:00-7:30 p.m.

How Much are Public Swimming Lessons?
Preschool Levels I and II are $30.00. Levels 1-6 are $40.00. All payments are taken the night of sign-up.

Red Cross Certifications
The Klaas-Jonas Community Pool follows Red Cross instruction and certification guidelines. Teaching ratios are based on age and number of swimmers. The younger the level, the higher the instructor/swimmer ratio.

PS I & II are meant to introduce water familiarity and confidence, while learning water safety, and can be repeated as many times as necessary.

Levels 1-6 are completion courses. Upon receiving the Red Cross Level Completion Card from your instructor, the swimmer can advance to the next level's swimming techniques.
 

What ages are appropriate for swimming lessons levels?
Preschool I: 18 months - 3 years (parents are in the water with their children)
Preschool II: 4 - 5 years
Level 1: 5 years or once they enter kindergarten. To pass Level 1 and enter into Level 2, your child must be out of Kindergarten.
Levels 2-6: 1st graders 6 years and up
